In 1986, Paul Olsen owner of Olsen Insurance Services served as President of the local Spokane chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. He has served on the board of the association in various roles for over 20 years including currently as Legislative Chairman and as Chairman of the Team St Luke’s golf tournament that raises funds to support the adoptive sports program of St Luke’s Hospital.
In 2000 he was the President of the Downtown Spokane Exchange Club. He has also served on the club board, and the foundation board of the club. He has belonged to the club since 1993. He has served as Chairman of the ACE (Accepting the Challenge of Excellence) student scholarship program for many years that helps high school seniors who have made life changes that have made them excel above other students while they are overcoming significant challenges in their young lives. This program supports students from Rogers, North Central and On Track Academy.
In addition he takes pride in helping his clients achieve financial security for their future. Paul likes to take advantage of the outdoor opportunities that living in the northwest affords its residents. He enjoys fly fishing in the many lakes, streams and rivers. He has belonged to The Spokane Fly Fishers for many years and has served on the club board, and has been the Outings Chairman. He also belongs to the Inland Empire English Springer Spaniel Club and he is currently Vice President of it. He loves being in the outdoors with his Springer Big Sky Ranger.
